Mas Verde is a fusion of Rock, Blues, Surf, Jazz, and Psych. Or you could just call it Indie Rock. Based out of Milwaukee, WI, Mas Verde is a project formed around the songs written by lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Zach Spiegler.
The inspiration behind the music of Mas Verde ranges from the Cars, The Beach Boys, and David Bowie, to more modern acts like Mac Demarco and Summer Salt. There is always a growing number of musicians who work with Mas Verde, from those who’ve been recording on the upcoming debut EP “Scrumtrulescent”, to those playing music live. There have been approximately 20 musicians that have played within the project, Including 5 drummers and 4 saxophonists.
Mas Verde’s music is a reflection of good times, falling in and out of love, and drinking beer while thinking about life. The world needs more green and you need to listen to little Mas Verde.
